the brief
Crawfords, a leading name in agricultural machinery, approached me to create a series of recruitment videos that would highlight their dynamic work environment and attract top talent. With locations across Chelmsford, Kent, West Sussex, and Hampshire, the challenge was to authentically represent the company’s culture while showcasing the diverse roles within the business.
The project began with in-depth planning and storyboarding to ensure each video would tell a compelling story. Working closely with Crawfords, I developed interview questions designed to bring out the passion and expertise of their staff. Filming took place at various locations, with each setting carefully chosen to represent the specific job roles being highlighted—whether it was the bustling workshops or the scenic fields showcasing their cutting-edge machinery.
To add a visual wow factor, I incorporated drone videography to capture Crawfords’ impressive facilities and machinery from above, providing a unique perspective that reflected the scale and innovation of their operations. Post-production involved editing the footage into short, engaging videos optimised for social media and their website, with professional colour grading to give the visuals a polished, cohesive look.
The final videos not only presented Crawfords as a forward-thinking, employee-focused company but also provided prospective candidates with an authentic glimpse into life at Crawfords. The team was thrilled with how the videos turned out, and the content has become a key part of their recruitment strategy, helping them connect with the right talent across the country.
